Write simple questions on small pieces of paper and place them in a box: “What was one small thing you liked today?” “When did you feel you helped someone?” “If your day had a colour, which would it be?” Everyone draws one, and anyone may choose another if they do not want to answer.
Do not correct answers or turn them into an investigation. When adults offer a brief, honest answer too, the activity feels safer. Bring the box out once or twice a week so it stays inviting rather than becoming homework.
