Set out two safe containers with an age-appropriate large spoon or a soft cloth. Let your child touch, transfer and repeat. Narrate simply: “in,” “fell,” “again.” There is no need to direct every movement or demonstrate one correct result.
When your child looks back to you after an action, answer with a smile or a few words. The goal is not a finished product. It is a shared experience where experimenting and returning to a trusted adult belong together.
Safety note: choose large, safe, age-suitable materials and avoid small parts or anything that could be swallowed.
